In order to help develop the career of female orthopaedic surgeons, SFO offers a unique opportunity for three young female orthopaedic surgeons to travel to major Centres in Switzerland for two weeks to acquire specific knowledge, exchange thoughts with experts in the field, and network. This year's subspecialty will be Foot & Ankle Surgery. A detailed program will follow.
Fellowship period: 05-15.06.2023.
Eligible as Fellows are female orthopaedic surgeons in their last two years of residency or after completing their FMH working as ‘Oberärztin / Cheffe de Clinique’ in an official, accredited swiss training facility (‘Weiterbildungsstätte / Centre de formation’) for Orthopaedic Surgery. It is mandatory for the candidates to have had at least one year of specific training in the chosen subspeciality. The candidates have to be members of Swiss Female Orthopaedics. Priority is given to candidates who have not yet benefited from another sponsored fellowship.
Applications are to be submitted until 15.2.2023 with a letter of motivation and a CV to the Chair of Fellowship Committee Dr. Lisca Drittenbass via email: email@example.com.
